"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul." - Deuteronomy 4:29

"If you can't say something nice, Don't say anything at all!"

Last Monday, I came home with a greeting from my little brother, Hunter, with an eager smile telling me to follow him. We came upon my mom who said her famous words, "Guess what we got." Having heard that line at least 20 times, I knew this meant some sort of exotic pet. As I walked into the room, I saw 2 very cute bunnies! They are the new addition to the Colbert Family! I would share the names, but quite frankly, they aren't established yet. But they are both girls. I can't wait to watch them grow! They are too adorable. My sweet friend, Ashton Mueller, was over also and had the great idea to have a bunny photo shoot. We each held one and Mary Alan of course followed. And the photo shoot began...

The stud.. Hunter loves these new pets!

Sweet Gus went missing this past week. :( Hopefully he will return home soon or have fun in kitty heaven!

We had the opportunity to meet the Duckmen from the popular television show, Duck Dynasty!!!! It was so awesome and powerful as they delivered they're message. I had no idea that they were such strong Christians! Definitely going on the weekly "must watch" T.V. show list.
 Willie.
 Jace.
Si... and his tea cup.
Phil.
Mrs. Kay.
The many duck calls.

I can not think of a more appropriate week to get bunnies with Easter being right around the corner! Now we have actual Easter Bunnies! Every time I see bunnies I think of the Disney movie Bambi and little Thumper whose famous quote is, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I might think of this because I have a baby sister who always watches Disney movies, but I think it's also because this quote is so stinkin true. If nothing good can come out of your mouth... the one that God gave to you to glorify him with... then don't even say anything. Don't be the darkness in someones day. I try to see the positive in every situation, but sometimes it can be very difficult. Our sweet cat, Gus, went missing this week. My mom has had a hard time because he was such a great cat! But even though he is no longer living the "good life" with us (in terms of a cats life), he is living an even better life with Jesus in heaven! You have to look at the positives. They truly make the situation seem better! Try it. Think of good, positive, uplifting things instead of bad things. Glorify the creator with the mouth he gave you to do so in. If someone is having a rough day, encourage them in any and every way possible! That is the basis of the true Christian family... to be a family. One that encourages and uplifts. Have a very blessed and positive week! And have a happy Easter!!!
